The City of Hoboken’s Division of Cultural Affairs seeks photo submissions for 7th & Jackson Community Mural Project, an initiative honoring the residents, community, neighborhood, and history of Hoboken’s West Side.
The mural design will be developed in collaboration with local students participating in the Division’s Mural Arts Workshops this summer and brought to life by artist Emily Strauss and her team at Mural Painter Inc.
The finished mural will span 2,025 square feet along the eastern fence at the 7th & Jackson Resiliency Park and will incorporate imagery from photo submissions provided by West Side residents, as well as archival photos and oral histories. Community members are encouraged to fill out this form and contribute digital photographs that reflect the spirit and story of Hoboken’s West Side for consideration for the mural project.
